In light of the promising evidence of exercise as asupportive therapy for cancer patients, the currentstudy sought to examine and describe the exercisepatterns of brain tumor patients using an institution-based, cross-sectional survey. To our knowledge, thisis the first report to examine this question and adds toa growing body of literature investigating the potentialrole of exercise as a supportive therapeutic interven-tion for patients with cancer.An unexpected finding in the current study wasthe relatively high number of participants who re-ported meeting Centers of Disease Control/AmericanCollege of Sports Medicine national exercise prescrip-tion guidelines of achieving at least 150 minutes ofweekly strenuous/moderate exercise minutes.26Spe
