lemon and Pepper Dipping Sauce

When I first arrived in Australia and went shopping to buy some lemons, I was very confused because all l Could find were these big yellow things that I had never seen before in my life! In Vietnam, lemons were small, delicate, green eound fruits that looked a bit like a cross between a cumquat and a Tahitian lime. I soon got used to the big yellow monsters and now happily use them to make this classic dipping sauce - although i have been know to add a dash of lime juice when I feel like I want some extra tang.
