1) Where are emporio armani watches made? I read somewhere they are made in China but another site said manufactured in Switzerland!
=> EA watches are assembled in China. None are Swiss made. Their watches use a variety of Japanese and Chinese movements. The chronographs use Japanese-designed (but may not be made in Japan) Seiko-Epson quartz movement, while their automatic watches like for example the AR4605 uses a Chinese made TY2714 mechanical auto and hand-winding movement.
2) Also are armani watches reliable?
=> They are made by Fossil and can be considered decent watches. They should have the same level of quality and finish as the other brands also developed by Fossil Inc such as Adidas, Michael Kors, etc. As fashion timepieces EA will do just fine, but not for scuba diving or anything surpassing 20ATM or 200m of water pressure. Many of EA watches have a water resistance rating of only 30-50m. They are after all, fashion watches. Performance wise, the quartz models should be reliable and comparable to their Swiss counterparts. As for the automatic models, even though the movement is Chinese, they are the better made Chinese decorated movements manufactured by Sea-Gull for export market. Accuracy may be the only issue here about their automatic movements and expect +/- 15-25 secs a day.
3) Please only answer if you actually know what your talking about eg you have an armani or you work at an armani store etc thx
=> I do not own an EA watch and not an employee of their store, but I have handled many watches. Actually a lot of watches.
