Chaiyaphum is a province located in North-East region (Isan) just 342 km from Bangkok. It is mountains, half plateau and roughly half forests approximately 50% of Chaiyaphum. The province has a total area of 12,778.3 square km. or 7,986,429 Rai.
Chaiyaphum, the City of Phraya Lae the Brave, features many historical monuments from its long and storied history, as well as spectacular natural beauty. It is a land of beautiful Dok Krachiao (curcuma) fields and abundant waterfalls, especially in the rainy season.
