Arvin (2007) believes that winning karate athletes in tournaments, have more confidence and motivation and this
factor increase the probability of their success [1]. Behbadi (2008) and Vealey (1998) affirmed that athletic
confidence and self-confidence in martial arts are more important because it makes the success of athletes and
changes positions from negative to positive. Sure athletes are less anxious, therefore they are less concerned about
negative thoughts and this will increase their concentration on tournament [2,13]. Zinsser et al., (2001) believe that
optimism is more important in martial arts because it causes to increase concentration, effort and accuracy. It also
prevents the interaction of negative excitement and thoughts [
