The validity of the approach was con rmed by the ndings of the European Survey of Enterprises on New and Emerging Risks (ESENER) [19], reporting an improvement in the awareness of psychosocial risks at work among UK and Irish companies, subse- quent to the introduction of the MS for work-related stress as structured guidelines on its management. It is also included in the European Commission s report dated February 2011 on imple- mentation of the European Framework Agreement on work-related stress in the EU [20].
