Good night Yuva.
No doubt about it, sugar is not a friend of mine. It has its uses, and I guess because I do not bother with it much, I have been able to avoid a lot of different problems related to it. No big deal. I will admit to liking desserts. I just do not make them and always try to keep the portions small. This way I can enjoy the flavors and be satisfied with the smaller portions and be great full I ate some. Just overly large portions push my buttons and while I will be polite and eat the larger portion, I do not enjoy it as much. Just one of my weird ways I guess. I do eat some fruits. Because I can not eat the usual quantities associated with most fruits, I tend to not buy them as much as I should. Plus the juices tend to get up inside my gums and I feel it when I brush my teeth. So I have to really want fruit when I am in the store before I get it. I always try most anything at least once. In the summer I tend to like to eat different melons. Strawberries are something I really enjoy when they are on sale. Problem again is me being able to eat them all before they go bad. Strawberries go bad pretty quickly once you get them home. They are only good for two to three days.
I think the world economy is struggling all around the world. I am not sure how much of it is a direct influence of the collapse of the US economy back in 2007/2008, but it certainly has not recovered well here, and Thailand was having issues before the coup. So both countries need to work at improving. The US economy may never recover beyond the stock market because our political leaders are not the most trust worthy people on the planet. And that goes for both sides of the isle. Until we can install truth and good will in our leadership here, the US will continue to struggle because the people are easily duped. Including my daughter! While the conservatives are not really any better than the liberals here, they do at least understand one basic principle. The nation must have a strong military to keep our allies and our nation safe. The bad problem is the liberals have spent so much money the last 6 years that it may take us 30 years to recover from that terrible use of money! Especially since most of our tax dollars are being used to pay for interest!
Interestingly enough, the Bank of Thailand cut interest rates back to 1.75%. The cut is seen as the banks way to try and help the struggling economy. Most economists expected the Thai bank to hold the interest rate for an eighth straight quarter. So the Bank of Thailand is doing some more to help get the Thai economy moving forward again.
Pleasant dreams and sleep well. I think about you all the time!
Hugs & Kisses
