In a large, international business like ours, it’s perhaps no surprise that our IT Services and Operations have been quite disparate. We’ve made numerous acquisitions over the years, and we’re home to different brands running out of lots of different countries. This meant there was no single IT Services and Operations strategy. Until now.
Our transformation programme is all about streamlining our business – in every sense, and IT is a central part of that.
Responsible for the end-to-end IT processes across the business, in IT Services and Operations we’re not only bringing various teams in-house, we’re also consolidating our existing teams so that everyone is working as one. That doesn’t mean we won’t have IT teams overseas. It’s just that from supplier management to our IT Service Centre, everyone will be using the same systems, processes and technology as part of an integrated, virtual team. Even more importantly, everyone will be working to the same goal – this is about enabling our customers and our staff to be able to connect to our systems anywhere, anytime, anyhow.
