Shoots rooted on media supplemented with IBA showed
concentration-dependent callus formation. Root initiation
did not occur at the shoot base, but often originated from a
callus or the leaves that touched the medium surface. At the
end of 8 weeks there was a higher rooting percentage with 0.5
mg L–1 IBA (Figure 1d), at 100% and 66% under photoperiod
(16/8) or dark application, respectively (Table 3).
