Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport’s animal station for import
and transit is authorized to handle all animal species
(equines, productive livestock, pets, research animals and
wild fauna). Its facilities designed in strict compliance with
environmental protection and hygiene regulations cover a
surface area of 9317 m2, including 2315 m2 inside.
As a border inspection point, its main role is to check the
health of living, commercial animal imports from third (non
EU) countries.
The animal station -run by VIA/WFS- is open to importers
7.00 am to 8.30 pm (Monday to Friday and Saturday from
8 am to noon). Nevertheless the station can be opened
anytime for airlines on prior request.
