agreement that governing an institution is not easy and it demands maturity. Many claimed that one of the requisites behind good governance and governing is shouldering responsibility and not passing it on to your subordinates. All respondents concurred that governing can be the remit of one individual or a board. Finally, all agreed that any form of governance and governing (whether authoritarian or democratic) was synonymous with the politics of direction in its widest sense; that is where a country or any institution, for that matter, was to go.
