Oil reacts well with M. anisopliae conidia hydrophobicity (Polar et al. 2005), has low volatility, is compatible with ultra-low volume techniques (ULV) (Bateman et al. 1998), does not influence conidia germination (Batta 2003), and enhances the effectiveness of M. anisopliae under natural conditions where humidity varies according to seasonal and diurnal rhythms (Albernaz et al. 2009).
