Conditional demand analysis (CDA) is a method for disaggregating the total household electric load into the individual components associated with a particular end-use or appliance. The method does not require direct observation on specific end-use energy usage, but once the electric load curves or demand functions are found, they can be used to estimate the monthly and annual average energy consumption associated to each of the end-uses considered.
