The survey instrument was validated via Cronbach’s Alpha Reliability analysis
(see Table 6). Cronbach’s Alpha Reliability analysis tests the consistency of responses
between like questions. In this instrument’s pilot study, there were 10 pairs of questions
asking similar questions. Cronbach’s alpha was acceptable (Alpha > than 0.500) for 9 of
the 10 pairs. This result suggested that the test had acceptable levels of reliability. The
results of the pilot study made no impact on the main study. There were no changes in the
instrument survey as a result of the pilot study
