The same affiliation is used to determine the pressure in a fluid resulting from
a force applied to it. Figure 10 (left) shows a force of 1000N being applied to a
fluid over a .01m2 area. By using the formula, Pressure = Force ÷ Area or in this
instance, 1000N ÷ .01 m2 the fluid pressure of 100,000 Pa can be calculated.
