I agree with the question, but not completely because there are numerous disadvantages too. Facebook and Twitter have changed the way our lives work. Our privacy is no longer guaranteed. Yet, it is one most influential means of communication these days. They are simple, quick, free and easy to use. They are a virtual world for teenagers. Their lives revolve around their walls and tweets. Companies and celebrities have followers and pages that let them stay in touch with their fans. There are groups which lets people from all over the world share thoughts and ideas. However, using Facebook and Twitter is not free. Technically it is free. However, these sites contain tons of information and photos of you. No one knows where it goes and what happens to them. The government can access this information without your permission or it could land in some hacker's hand. This is the price we pay to use Facebook! Using Facebook has created marriage problems with couples cheating on each other and so on. So social networking is a mixed blessing.
