The height growth pattern variability of Munesa Shashemene
of C. lusitanica plantation (Fig. 1) was not explained by
anamorphic and polymorphic forms of Chapman–Richards
(1959) site index equations (Eqs. (2) and (3)). None of the
coefficients, k and r depended significantly on site index.
Additionally, the coefficient r did not significantly differ from
1, thus indicating that we were not able to find a point of
inflection in the height growth curves. All this was also true
when these equations were fitted to the data set of Gambo,
Shashemene and Munesa separately.
