You've had a difficult week. You decide to treat yourself to a nice, quiet meal at your favorite restaurant. Unfortunately, everything goes wrong - your reservation was booked for the following night, you wait over 45 minutes for a table, your favorite dish is unavailable, etc. The next thing you know, the hostess is seating a loud party of 10 at the table beside you. When your waitress comes by, your first impulse is to scream and yell but you also want her to be cooperative in finding you a different table. How would you likely behave?
I'd be aggressive with her.
I'd be very crabby with her.
I'd be a little crabby with her.
I wouldn't be able to resist complaining to her about everything, but would tell her I am aware that it isn't her fault.
I'd resist the urge to complain to her and ask if it would be possible to find another table.
