initial exposure to boars were defined as anestrous. These gilts re-ceived 400 IU equine chorionic gonadotropin (eCG)þ200 IU human
chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) (PG600; MSD-Animal Health) and
were followed for another 30 days for estrus detection.
