It would certainly make sense for Samsung to go with the Snapdragon 800 for a couple of reasons. For starters, the CPU supports 4G LTE (speedy Cat 4) negating the need for a separate chip and it can be clocked up to a whopping 2.3GHz. Furthermore, the Adreno 330 GPU can support up to Ultra HD (4k) video playback and it supports speedy 11ac Wi-Fi.
