Father Ray Foundation
On Saturday morning (8th) at the Father Ray Foundation, over 100 children participated in important ceremonies to encourage self- esteem and hope in every child, as they are future of the country. The Father Ray foundation and the “Government Housing Bank”, also known in Thai as “Aa-karn-song-kror Bank”, held 2 ceremonies, one, a Buddhist Offering to the invited 9 monks from “Kao Po Tong Temple”, and Christian Prayers to request protection from God and the Holy Spirit. The Bank was represented by the Managing Director, Mr. Worawit Chai-lim-pa-ma-tree and bank officials, and the foundation by Father Pattarapong Sriworagoon, Father Dr. Pichan Jaiseree and Father Worawut Sarapan. All children enjoyed a great day.
Pattaya Police Station
At the Pattaya Police Station, the Superintendent Pol. Col. Nantawut Suwanlaong and the Deputy Superintendents Pol. Lt. Grisagorn Tong-in and Pol. Lt. Col. Trataip Tupanit hosted a “National Youth Day Celebration” for the children of the police, and celebrated the New Year as well. Many engaging games, Food, soft drinks and presents were presented to the kids, and seeing the joy on their children’s faces made it a grand morning for the parents too.
Central Festival Pattaya Beach Mall
At Central Festival Pattaya Beach Mall, the “Kid’s day 2011 @ Central Festival” was hosted by the General Manager, Mr. Saran Tantijamnan. He wished to send happiness to all the children taking part that day, and gave 2011 presents to the children. The event was opened by Mayor Ittipon Khunpleum, and many activities, including challenging games, lovely shows and performances, were waiting to surprise the children throughout the weekend at Central Festival.
Sanctuary of Truth
Throughout the whole of Saturday, the Sanctuary of Truth also presented a “National Children’s Day 2011” for the youngsters. Special performances from the “Arunothai Private School” were staged, and many gifts were given away to the kids. The Funniest Laugh Competition” brought a great deal of amusement to the children and their parents. Elephant guides took everyone sightseeing around the Sanctuary grounds, and the kids got to enjoy free horse cart rides as well. Educational games were provided for the children to sharpen their skills while playing as well. The whole day was very successful, a spot on sanctuary for the children.
Tiffany Show Hall
And finally, on North Pattaya Road, the Tiffany Show Hall was another place where children could enjoy themselves on “National Youth Day”. The children received many presents at the Tiffany party, and got to play numerous games in keeping with the spirit of the day.
