Table 4 presents the results from one-way ANOVA analysis. Men and women have the same perception that drinking wine is healthier than drinking beer or spirits. However, they have different views on whether the sulfites in wine may give some people headaches (ρ≤0.05). Based on the magnitude of mean scores, women are more likely than men to believe the sulfites in wine cause headaches, consistent with prior studies indicating women are more actively seeking health-related information offline or online (O'Keefe et al., 1998 and Renahy et al., 2010), thereby are more perceptive to the information. It is interesting to find that there is no apparent difference between Millennials and their older counterparts related to these statements, even though there are obvious differences in their lifestyle choices.
