Hello, I'm Jessica Corbin, certified personal trainer and founder of Vitness Rx. And I'm going to show you guys some exercises for the inside of your quad muscle. So if you are looking to strengthen and contour the inner thighs, those are also known as your adductor muscles. I have a few exercises you can do to do just that. So the first one is going to be a basic plie squat with a toe drag. So plie squat position looks like this. Heels in, toes out. Sink yourself low. You are going to feel a stretch in your inner thighs here. Now from this position you are going to actually zip everything up through the mid line. And pull your heel towards your other heel. And then come back to center. And then drag your other toe towards your other heel and come back to center. So it's this zipping up action that really helps to engage your inner thighs and your adductors. Do that 15 to 20 reps, a few rounds each. And then the next one it's just going to be to come down into the ground and do a leg lift. So from this position bend the back knee, extend the front leg. And then flex the foot. Draw the inside of the ankle up towards the sky. Inside of the ankle up towards the sky. So that you are really engaging the inside of the thigh. Do that 15 to 20 reps, three rounds each. That in combination with some aerobic exercises you'll have some really good looking thighs in no time.
