• Training and supervising of in-flight services personnel..
• Coordination and documentation of all in-flight services as outlined by the company’s operational standards and procedures
• All sourcing and purchases related to In Flight Service retail operations (food, beverage and merchandise) including liaising and communicating with Catering Supplier for all of In-Flight Service F&B and amenities supplies
• Management of all in-flight services inventory with Catering Supplier.
• Monthly reconciliation of Catering invoices with Catering Supplier and Finance.
• Supervise all in-flight services operation areas, including Airside ramp movement and procedures, aircraft galley areas
and in-flight services office
• Work closely with the Flight Attendant Department in setting sales targets and monitoring daily sales performance of flight attendants
• Directs, controls, co-ordinates and participates in all in-flight services activities at airport and warehouse facility
• Recruits and provide orientation and training for junior staff to company procedures and outlines
• Evaluates the performance of junior staff and make recommendations on promoting potential junior staff
• Submits appraisals on staff performance and follows up with PD on all employee issues in an acceptable timeframe
• Monitoring the transportation of food, beverage and merchandise carts, F&B and amenity supplies including loading and unloading between Caterer warehouse and aircraft
• Ensures that in-flight services procedures comply with company and operational standards and requirements and makes recommendations for SOP updates and/or additions
• Safeguard all In Flight Services property, assets, resources and reputation at all times.
• Confirms product par level consistency with all cart settings from Catering warehouse
• Make recommendations on in-fight services procedures and quality improvements
• Ensures company hygiene, sanitation, uniform and grooming standards are adhered
• Controls and ensures correct product handling
• Conducts daily checks on airside operations to ensure SOP adherence and takes correct action where necessary
• Assists Commercial and Financial departments with all flight crew communications relating to in flight sales and problem resolution
• Attends to major operational problems and needs brought to his attention of all staff
• Attends to feedback, complaints, inquiries and requests within a suitable time frame
