This time I stayed in executive rooms as I was joined by family from Australia with teenaged youngsters. The rooms seem to be the same size and design as the standard rooms but the use of the executive lounge with free soft drinks and snacks all day was an advantage with jet-lagged youngsters! The breakfast in the lounge was good but not as good as the selection in the Glasshouse restaurant where standard room guests have breakfast - this is quite acceptable and understandable and the personal service at breakfast was good. The evening "Happy hour" with free alcohol and delicious snacks was a great bonus, again especially with youngsters. I usually stay in a standard room as I do not drink alcohol so when I travel alone see no reason to pay extra just for executive check-in and maybe some more personal treatment from the staff. Hiwever, it was a lovely experience and much appreciated by all my family.
