Buy my sweet violets" called a flower seller "only the cents a bunch" "ten cents" spluttered Uncle Scrooge "For flowers? Robbery"
"Ah,but smell how sweet they are, said the Flower sell" said the flower seller "The scent alone is worth five cents"
"Rubbish!" snapped Scrooge -but as he walked home he thought, "I wonder if the scent is worth five cents? What a lovely way to make money! ?
As soon as he got in , Uncle Scrooge took some old paper bags form the shelf (he never threw a paper bag away) and rushed into the garden He paper bag over every scented flowerhe could find , left them there for five minutes, then took the bags off and tied them at the neck with bits of old string (He never threw string away ei ther) Then he piled the bags together at the front gate with a notice above them - FLOWER SCENT 5c A BAG.
Uncle Scrooge watched from behind the net curtains Everyone read his notice and most people laughed Nobody bought any nag- but then Daisy Duck came along She picked up a bag and sniffed it "Don't do that" yelled Scrooge, rushing out. "You'll use all the smell up!" Daisy tossed her head and walked away, and Scrooge went indoors again Next time he came out his notice had been altered It said, OLD PAPER BAGS 5$

And Uncle Scrooge rather thought it was in Daisy's handwriting
