Teenage years are often tragic.
Hormones raging, there is no magic.
“You have no clue!”, is sometimes spoken.
“You just don’t get it, my heart’s been broken.”
But there she sits, comforting me.
“It will be okay…someday…you’ll see.”
What does she know? She’s never been there.
My life’s a mess, but does SHE care?
Does he like me? Did I pass the test?
I’m so confused…and I’m so stressed!
And there’s my mom, behind the scenes.
With a knowing smile, encouraging my dreams.
So although I don’t say it, I must confess,
I love my mom. “My Mom’s the Best!”
Although this isn’t an “essay”, this was the best way for me to explain how my mom deals with, and supports, having 3 teenage girls in the household. I believe it is exactly 100 words…but since I didn’t have my mom review it… Just kidding, I used the word count feature in Word and it’s exactly 100 words
