Since the promotion that the photos are tied to was brief and has now ended, we have enlisted our local counsel to keep the site under regular monitoring. If Monipla resumes use of Starbucks trademarks and we can establish a pattern of bad faith, we will likely have a stronger case to take to Facebook in the future. If this was a one-time event, we probably do not need to signal our attention at this point or risk potential negative public relations by threatening formal action.
