From studying the effect found that the reason that Thailand lack of personnel is that in 2014 there were 13,000 hotel and tourism industries. From the survey of National Statistical Office found that the need of labor in this area of work was 2.7 hundred thousands of people per year and not be able to recruit personnel within 6 months which was in labor shortage for 1.7 hundred thousand people. If considering the need of personnel, there are pros and cons of Thai labor. From evaluating the quality of Thai labor found that Thai labor doesn’t have unique potential especially solving problems skill, computer skill, teamwork, and working technique. Moreover, the weakness of Thai personnel in this kind of area is weakness in foreign languages especially English and managing ability especially in hotel and restaurants. Thai people don’t have ability as much as the employers expect.
