The only thing I can think of is maybe you are having too little??
Many of the people I have talked with who have had great success on this say that you actually lose more weight if you drink more lemonade.
It sounds strange, but if you are only having 6 and not even a tablespoon of the syrup, your body thinks it is starving and will hold on to the fat.
Try having more, sweetie! You will have more energy as well.
One thing that helped me, was to go on to youtube and watch people's video diary's. And once again the ones that were drinking 12 glasses a day lost like crazy!
