We, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, Bangkok Branch (“SMBC BKK”) would like to announce the new enhancement on SMAR&TS system which will be effective from June 8, 2015 onward as the followings;
For the customers who currently utilize Fund Transfer function with SMBC BKK, there will be “Fixed Deposit service” available for you to utilize.
The current Approval Matrix and User permission setting for Fund Transfer function, including Internal Transfer, Own A/C Tran will be automatically applied to this Fixed Deposit services.
Note:
To submit Fixed Deposit transaction via SMAR&TS, customers are required to confirm with our officer in charge in advance.
SMAR&TS supports only Fixed Deposit transaction that have source of funds from Debit Account (Saving or Current account) only. For other types, e.g. Cheque or Bahtnet, customer can use the Paper Application as usual.
2. Purpose field in Telegraphic service will be changed to “Mandatory” field.
This is to comply with Bank of Thailand regulation in oversea remittance transaction.
