It is true that we live in a complex and stressful world. We all in a hurry and our leisure time is more valuable than ever before. Personally, I prefer to spend my free time outdoors for the following reasons.






Firstly, I believe that nowadays we spend more time indoor than our ancestors did. So, we have lost the link with the nature and as a result we face health problems, stress and depression. Therefore we have to spend our leisure time outdoors to balance this situation. That is why I prefer walking in the park near my home or swimming in the sea than stay into my home in my free time.

Secondly, it seems to me that we live more and more in solitude. We live in huge blocks of flats whith hundrends neighbourhoods but in many cases we do not know anybody. If we spend our free time into our appartments we increase the isolation and the loneliness. In my view, the best solution is to find occasions to meet people and it is better for example to do team sports outdoor than exercise alone in a private gym.

Taking everything into consideration, I believe that it is better to spend our leisure time outdoors, in social activities or team sports than be inside for private activities because I am convinced that we have to link again with the nature if we want to have a balanced life.
