The WMI consist of the list of 7 motives, grouped in 3 motivational complexes – economic motives, career growth and social status motives form the complex of Extrinsic Positive Motivation; motives of relationships with administration and avoiding troubles form Extrinsic Negative Motivational complex; motives of work satisfaction and self-realisation form the complex of Intrinsic Motivation. Respondents evaluate personal significance of each motive, using 5-point scale: from 1 (very insignificant) to 5 (very insignificant).
