3.3 The coefficient of determination (R2)
The coefficient of determination is used to determine the
percentage of independent variables in explaining dependent
variables. According to the result, the value of R2 (R-square)
is 0.869840 or 86,98%. From these results, it can be
concluded that the independent variables consisting of
Economic Value Added and Market Value Added can
explain the dependent variable. The share price of the
property sub-sector company is 86,98%, while the rest, at
13,02%, is explained by variables or other factors beyond the
present research.
