In the Priene scene, the trench is about 1 x 1.5 m and the measurements range from 0.1 m up to about 0.75 m. The measurement errors shown in table 1 are far lower than in the Bruszczewo scene because we used higher resolutions for the dense depth estimation (see below). This and the smaller distance of the camera with respect to the
trench lowered the quantisation noise of the iso-disparity surfaces. Furthermore, the homogeneous lighting conditions led to a more accurate computation of the depth maps.
