- Strategy Is to develop operational excellence in Asia
- Early 2014, head of RI Operational Excellence visited and identified gaps
- Asia Management committed to build capability and implement best practice from across the group
- Initial focus on Malaysia which delivers 80% of Asia's profit
- Build Malaysia into a center of excellence then leverage these best practices and capabilities into the other countries using a phased approach
- Starting with a pilot in the two KL branches – PC & HYG. The outcomes of the pilot will form the basis of the Malaysia / Asia operations excellence plan for 2015
