Satiety responsiveness
A hierarchical linear regression with satiety responsiveness as the dependent variable and the same predictors as above showed that the addition of non-eating self-regulation variables led to a significant increase in the prediction of satiety responsiveness beyond the demographic variables (Table 5). This was due to the gift delay task
(standardized beta −0.215, p < 0.01). The negative beta showed that high levels of child eating self-regulation (satiety responsiveness) were associated with high levels of emotion regulation (less peeking during the gift task).
