Using HL and HC as key dimensions, a glove sizing system was constructed for each gender by following four steps: (1) selection of size interval lengths, (2) establishment of size categories, (3) analysis of size distribution, and (4) determination of a sizing system (Moon, 2002; Roebuck, 1995). The HL and HC measurements of the 1988 US Army anthropometric survey (Gordon et al., 1988), collected from a total of 3982 soldiers (1774 males and 2208 females), were used to develop glove sizing systems.
