Corn cob (แกนข้าวโพด) is a loose form of plant cellulose therefore could not produce much energy (heat) comepare to other plant such as ต้นโกงกาง. It is a bulky material therfore transportation cost will limit it use as fuel in bio mass energy. The structure of cellulose is in a short form therefore it could not use to produce paper.
It usefulness would be to use as composting. A successful composting need to have a right proportion of carbon and nitrogen ratio. Corn cob will provide carbon due to it was made of cellulose by nature. Nitrogen could be provide by manure.
I have Noi Nar fruit farm if it is cheap enough (delivered to Pak Chong) I would like to buy, I will used it to spread around Noi Nar trees and put cattle manure (preferrable dairy cattle, have less weed seed) on top of it. The benefit of this technique is will enhance soil structure qualities by increase water holding capacity, provide nutrients (mostly from the manure) and most important to increase microbial activities in the soil. The principle of the EM (Efficient Microorgaism) products we use is based on enhancing soil microbial activity
