The future of Thai women's volleyball looks very promising as the Thai under-23 women's team wins the VTV Cup in Vietnam, defeating a Chinese side 3 -1 sets.The Thai under-23 women's volleyball team have won the VTV International Women's Volleyball Cup for the first time, beating the Liaoning Volleyball Club from China, 3 sets to 1. The Thai women got off to a winning start, taking the first set 25-22. The Chinese women took the second set, however, taking the final two points after the score was tied at 24-24. The next game was even tighter, going to 25-25, but this time it was the young Thais who took the last two points and the set. The Thai women then dominated the final set, coming away with a 25-20 win and the championshiptrophy. The VTV International Women's Volleyball Cup is organised by the Vietnam Volleyball Federation and sponsored by Vietnam Television. It was establishedin 2004.
