The fetal outcome among the older primigravid women is
generally controversial, some reported increased in
perinatal mortality (Fretts and Usher, 1997; Astolfi et al.,
2005; Ling et al., 2008) while others did not (Oboro and
Dare, 2006; Ojule et al., 2011). Our study revealed no
significant difference in terms of fetal outcome,
congenital malformations, stillbirth, neonatal death, and
APGAR scores between the two groups.
