The antioxidant activity of the four types of authentic anthocyanins,
determined using the ORAC assay, followed the rank order:
P3G (42.4 lmol Trolox/100 mg) > malvidin (41.6 lmol Trolox/
100 mg) > C3G (27.8 lmol Trolox/100 mg) > Pt3G (22.9 lmol Trolox/
100 mg) (Fig. 3).
