The emission of carbon dioxide which is the major courses of
greenhouse gas has increased significantly. Fig. 1 shows the global
total carbon dioxide emission from 1960 to 2008 [14]. The depleting of fossil fuels reserves and the adverse effects of greenhouse gas
emission on the climate are two factors that indicate the necessity
of increasing the contribution of renewable and sustainable energy
in energy consumption in Iran. Moreover, diversification of various
energy resources is important in the power sector in Iran.
