Eight member rookie girl group Oh My Girl made an unprecedented return to Korea after they were detained in America for over 10 hours.
On December 10th, a music industry insider revealed that the girl group were on their way to America to shoot for their new album jacket, landing in Los Angeles. However, the group and staff encountered a problem after they were detained by customs at the immigration office for over 10 hours after their luggage was unable to pass inspection though they themselves passed.
WM Entertainment commented that the problem seemed to lie in the gross amount of clothings and items needed for the shoot that the group was carrying with them.
They continued that following the second inspection, they were denied entry and because some of the members were young and they had waited so long, the decision to take the next flight back to Korea was made. “They took the earliest flight and are scheduled to arrive tomorrow (11th).”
