The chemical process for
recycling glass fibre reinforced polyester waste through pyrolysis at
450 C resulted in the production of CO, CO2, H2, CH4, hydrocarbon
gases along with pyrolytic oil with high calorific value for use as
fuels [4]. The incineration process may be one of the solutions for
fibre reinforced plastic waste disposal; however, this contributes to
the emissions of toxic substances to the atmosphere as well as
involves a higher operating cost
