What limitations might be influencing him or her to act this way?
- "Don really doesn't deal very well with typical household chaos. I know he feels easily overwhelmed when the kids run around or when they're not going about things the way he thinks they should. Getting the kids up and ready in the morning is a stretch for him; getting dinner cooked at night is probably sorely testing his limits. He has a bad back too, and it's possible that his back started giving him trouble with all the added stress. So I guess that supervising homework just didn't even make it to his radar screen. I discovered that the kids didn't bathe while I was away either; that didn't make it to Don's radar screen either. It's just as well neither of them had soccer practice."
