To supply the theoretical frameworks pertaining to corporate
risk management, this qualitative case study entailed an exploration of the behavioral
profile of Virginia Jihad Network members radicalized into the jihadist interpretation of
Islam. Between 2004 and 2005, members of the American-based Virginia Jihad Network
rendered trial testimony describing their jihadist affiliation and activities. This testimony
was recorded in verbatim transcription and was available in the public realm.
