Each and every individual has a unique personality that defines him or her to be the person that they are. A human being is not given a certain character trait depending on the day and month they were born. I believe there is an unfulfilled void in people that make them “needy.” They need an explanation for everything, they need to know their future, and need to feel as though they belong somewhere. Humans like to place themselves into a category and use that to justify their behavior. For instance, “I am very emotional because I am a Sagittarius.” People should not base their whole life around their zodiac sign and horoscope. My zodiac sign does not describe me completely but I find a little truth in some of the statements.

I was born November 1st and so I am placed in the category of a Scorpio. According to Astrology, I am very sensitive and easily moved by my emotions. This is definitely not true; although I wish it were so. I tend to speak out forward sometimes causing hurt to others. I will never understand why some people are so sensitive. Criticism, whether positive or negative, should be taken in and be used positively. I always look to better myself and to do so I search for feedback. My mother, grandmother, and aunts were never sensitive. I guess strong women just run in my family. The statement concerning emotions might have a little truth behind it. I will admit to sometimes letting my emotions get the best of me. My emotions react before my brain! I am very emotional when it comes to my “significant other.” I believe he is the only one that can get me to a boiling point and almost burst. That is definitely something I have to work on.

A Scorpio is said to be very demanding and that is something I can relate to. For some reason I expect too much out of people. At work my title is Front End Manager and I supervise 25+ cashiers and 5 Head Cashier
