Future studies in this field may profitably interrogate the thoughts of non-interac-
tive journalists on their interactives-producing peers (with particular emphasis on defini-
tions of quality). A content analysis of output in this field may yield further insights
into the values at play in news interactives, especially as they relate to the theories
shared by professionals here. The rise of this non-journalistic form outside of the news-
room may yield valuable information too, especially in terms of how non-journalists
influence and inform the work of professional interactive journalists.
