The change in G0 e at different range of storage temperatures (4–40 8C) was microscopically monitored in our formulations using scanning electron microscopy to investigate the change in morphology of the dispersions. SEM technique, which is more economical and has more opportunity to examine over large areas of samples within a short time comparative to transmission electron microscopy (TEM) technique, was previously used to successfully reveal the morphology of ceramide-loaded SLN (Hatziantoniou et al., 2007).
